Dip into the BBQ season with this Chipotle Pimento Dip as a wonderful cookout appetizer selection. Combine cream cheese, chipotle mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and sugar along with shredded cheddar and Colby jack cheeses. Add in pimentos and salt and pepper to taste. Serve with crackers and crudités. Make this dish your center piece of the table as your guests wait for the main entrées to be done.
Sunburst Turkey and Rice Salad
Salads are always a great option to serve at your BBQ, whether it’s a potato salad, coleslaw or even a scrumptious Sunburst Turkey and Rice Salad. Once you’ve drained your pineapple tidbits, mandarin oranges and water chestnuts, add them to sliced celery and scallions. Mix lemon yogurt, mayonnaise, grated lemon peel and curry powder and pour it over your combined ingredients, tossing the ingredients together to ensure they are well-blended. Cover and chill. Top your lettuce with the chilled salad that’s now ready to be served.
