Holiday Turkey with a Twist
Turkey time is among us as the holidays grow nearer. Don’t select your traditional Thanksgiving turkey to serve to your guests. Here are three delicious turkey recipes that create a lane of their own.
Green Salad with Turkey Pancakes and Honey Mustard Sauce
Are you looking for a different way to present turkey to your guests? Here’s a Green Salad with Turkey Pancakes and Honey Mustard Sauce recipe that is sure to have your guests coming back for more. Start by sifting flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside then combine egg, milk and butter to be whisked. After, add flour mixture. Pour batter into a skillet coated with butter and once the batter is bubbly top with chopped leftover turkey. Cook until pancakes are brown on both sides and flip occasionally. Top your pancakes with a mixed salad filled with apples, walnuts and cheese. Drizzle honey mustard sauce and cranberry relish. I didn’t see the turkey in this description. Does it go with the apples, walnuts, etc.?
Turkey Tacos
Get creative this Thanksgiving and plan a themed meal. If it’s Spanish food then you’re in luck with our Turkey Tacos. Sauté ground turkey with onions. Then, in the same skillet add salsa and white beans and let simmer. Fill your taco shells with the ground turkey mixture and top with cheese, lettuce and etc. Serve your holiday tacos on a festive holiday platter.
BBQ (Barbecue) Roast Turkey
Although summer has drifted away, here’s a BBQ (Barbecue) Roast Turkey recipe to cure your cravings. In a bowl, combine butter, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Butter your turkey and stuff lemons and onions inside the cavity. Next, use saucepan to combine barbecue sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and a bay leaf then let simmer. After, place turkey in a large roasting pan and cover with the BBQ sauce mixture. Once turkey has been fully cooked, slice and transfer onto platter. Enjoy with a side of macaroni and mashed sweet potatoes.
