Big Game + Big Sandwich = Big Party
The screams of touchdowns, turnovers and tackles are all essential aspects of The Big Game. According to the National Retail Federation, last year 188 million people watched The Big Game with 45 million people hosting parties. If you are one of the 45 million or just trying to decide what to bring to the party, here are three choices in sandwiches for your team.
Inch by Inch Hero Sandwich
People coming to The Big Game can have varying appetites. Make a hero sandwich that can be sliced depending on how big or small the appetite. Start by spreading either butter or margarine on both halves of the French bread. Then add lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, coleslaw and rolled sliced cooked chicken or turkey. Complete the sandwich with Thousand Island dressing on top and cut the sandwich into desired lengths. All the details are here.
Brisket Sliders with Pickled Red Onion and White Cheddar Cheese
Chow down on some delicious brisket sliders that are sure to score some points with guests. Season the brisket with black pepper and salt and let it roast in the oven for 30 minutes before adding the beef broth. Cook until tender and slice. Top the sliders with Garlic Sriracha BBQ sauce.
