2015 Package of the Year
Unilever Wins 2015 Package of the Year from The Association for Dressings & Sauces for its Hellmann’s/ Best Foods’ Mayonnaise Squeeze Bottle
(October 13, 2015) ATLANTA, GA – The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its sixteenth annual Package of the Year Award winner as Unilever, with supporting vendor Enercon Industries, for its Hellmann’s/Best Foods’ Mayonnaise Squeeze Bottle. The award was presented at the ADS Annual Meeting held Oct. 3-5 at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“Our board of directors, management and staff want to thank everyone at ADS for giving our bottle this prestigious award for its innovative shape and performance,” said Tom Wajda, research and development (R&D) director at Unilever. “We worked with Enercon Industries to design a bottle to help consumers get the most out of the product, and the most product out of the bottle.”
This award is the fourth ADS Package of the Year Award for Unilever since 2000, when ADS first began the award designation.
The Package of the Year Award is presented by ADS to increase the awareness of packaging in general and to celebrate the accomplishments of the packaging industry for dressing, sauce and condiment-related packages. Nominations for the award were received and ADS members cast their votes for the package deemed most innovative at the ADS May 2015 Technical Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
