The C.F. Sauer Company Wins 2016 Package of the Year from The Association for Dressings and Sauces
For its Duke’s® Mayonnaise Flexible Stand-Up Pouch with Flexfit™ Dispensing Closure
(October 25, 2016) ATLANTA, GA – The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its seventeenth annual Package of the Year Award winner as The C.F. Sauer Company, with supporting vendor Delkor Systems, Inc. for its Duke’s® Mayonnaise Flexible Stand-up Pouch with FlexFit™ Dispensing Closure. The award was presented at the ADS Annual Meeting held October 8-10 at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort in Marco Island, Florida.
“The development of the Duke’s® stand up pouch was a true collaboration from all departments in our 
company and our supporting vendor partners. It is a consumer driven package that brings new innovation to the mayo category and further differentiates Duke’s® from our competitors. We are so excited to win this award,” said Cecilia Brock, Corporate Packaging Engineer at The C.F. Sauer Company.

Richmond, Virginia-based The C.F. Sauer Company was founded in 1887 and produces flavorings, spices, sauces and condiments, including Duke’s® Mayonnaise. “As a family run company for more than a century, we appreciate the long history of ADS in the industry. We congratulate them as they celebrate their 90th anniversary this year. The Package of the Year Award is presented by ADS to increase the awareness of packaging in general and to celebrate the accomplishments of the packaging industry for dressing, sauce and condiment-related packages. Nominations for the award were received and ADS members cast their votes for the package deemed most innovative at the ADS May 2016 Technical Meeting in Savannah, Georgia.
