Colm Swan Awarded 2023 Technical Service Award
(May 1, 2023) Atlanta, GA – The Association for Dressings and Sauces has awarded the 2023 Technical Service Award to Colm Swan, Technical Application Manager, IMCD US Food & Nutrition. Mr. Swan has been a longstanding volunteer with ADS and is currently the Chair of the Technical Committee and a member of the Executive Technical Board.
“Colm is an exemplary leader and has contributed to the success of ADS’ Technical Committee projects along with ADS volunteers. His expertise is highly valued, and he is very deserving of this award,” said Patricia Faison, ADS VP of Regulatory and Technical Affairs.
The ADS Technical Service Award is presented annually to an individual who demonstrates dedicated service to the ADS technical programs. Nominations for this award are taken from the general ADS membership and voted on by ADS’ Executive Technical Board, which oversees the Association’s technical activities. At the Technical Meeting, members share their expertise on a variety of industry-specific topics including packaging, food safety, emulsions, and quality.
“I truly appreciate this acknowledgement – it’s been a pleasure working with the Technical Committee to ensure ADS remains the trusted voice of the dressings, sauces and mayonnaise industry,” noted Mr. Swan. “I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the ADS Technical Committee over the years and to receive this acknowledgement from the Association and its exemplary members is an honor.
