ADS Launches National Salad Month Recipe Contest
The Association for Dressings and Sauces’ National Salad Month recipe contest is now closed. Please check back again for details on future recipe contests.
Are you a foodie looking to share your favorite salad recipe with the world? The Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS) is excited to launch a recipe contest in honor of National Salad Month this May. Over the next several weeks, ADS will be accepting entries with unique salad recipes using a store-bought salad dressing. Please indicate the type of dressing used, not the brand name. Recipes with homemade dressings will not be accepted. Entries are limited to one recipe per contestant. Submit your recipe by June 30 for the chance to be featured on the ADS website and to receive a $250 gift card to a retail store of the winner’s choosing.
The winning recipe will be added to our library of hundreds of unique recipes featuring dressings and sauces ranging from balsamic vinaigrette to soy sauce. As the foremost voice of the dressings and sauces industry, ADS’ goal through this contest is to highlight the versatility of salad dressings, condiments, mayonnaise and more while celebrating our favorite holiday of the year – National Salad Month!
ADS launched National Salad Month in May of 1992 in response to a Gallup poll that revealed that three out of four people ate a tossed salad at least every other day. Salads and salad dressings are so much a part of the meal routine that many people have forgotten the integral role they play in a balanced diet.
Don’t hesitate to celebrate National Salad Month and submit your favorite salad recipe today.
