Tangy BBQ (barbecue) Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 C. Thinly sliced onion
  • 1 Jar 15-oz. Chili sauce
  • ¾ C. Water
  • 1/3 C. Hot mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ Lb. Thinly sliced cooked roast beef
  • Sandwich rolls split

Directions

  1. Sauté onion in vegetable oil in medium size saucepan 2 – 3 minutes or until tender. 

  2. Stir in chili sauce, hot mustard, water and Worcestershire sauce until well blended. 

  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. 

  4. Stir in beef; heat through. Serve on crusty sandwich rolls.
