Recipe of the Month: Apricot Mustard Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/3 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 smoked fully cooked half ham, 6 to 9 pounds

Directions

  1. Mix together preserves, mustard, sugar and vinegar. Place rack in roasting pan; place ham on rack.
  2. Bake at 325°F., 1 1/2 hours. Brush with preserve mixture.
  3. Continue cooking 30 to 60 minutes or until meat thermometer registers 130°F., basting every 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.

Grilled Apricot Mustard Glazed Ham: Grill ham in covered grill or on rotisserie over low coals, basting as directed.
