Salad a Day Contest Winner -- Recipe: My Favorite Fall Salad

10 oz. spring mix salad greens
3/4 C. bottled raspberry vinaigrette
2 ripe pears, cored and cut in bite-sized pieces
1 crisp apple (such as Granny Smith), cored and cut in bite-sized pieces
2 C. cubed grilled chicken
1/2 C. dried cranberries
1/2 C. toffee-glazed walnuts
1/4 lb. high-quality blue cheese, roughly crumbled

Prep Instructions: 

Toss salad greens with 1/2 C. raspberry vinaigrette.

Add pears and apple and toss until fruit is lightly coated with dressing.

Place greens and fruit on a serving plate and top with chicken, cranberries, walnuts, and blue cheese.

Drizzle with remaining dressing.
