ATLANTA, Ga. (July 15, 2014) – The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) has announced its “The Power of A” Summit Awards, the Association’s highest recognition for associations that make exemplary commitments to creating a stronger Americaand world.
Among the winners was United Fresh Produce Association (UFPA) for its school salad bar program. The Association for Dressings and Sauces helped support the Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools program by working with UFPA and donating a salad bar to Craig Elementary School in Lawrenceville, Ga. As a result, students have more variety and choices available helping them to more easily make healthy food selections.
