2003 SAUCE OF THE YEAR

ATLANTA -- The Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS) named its second-ever Sauce of the Year at its Annual Meeting held October 12-14 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson, Nevada.

The Sauce of the Year award was given to Silver Spring Gardens for their Pineapple Apricot Horseradish.

“We are very honored to be recognized with this award and extremely proud of our product,” said Tom Geheran, Vice President for Silver Spring Gardens, who accepted the award during Monday’s General Session.

The Sauce of the Year award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious sauce products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test. ADS members cast their votes for the sauce deemed to have the best overall taste. ADS also presented a Dressing of the Year award at their Annual Meeting.
