THE ASSOCIATION FOR DRESSINGS & SAUCES NAMES LITEHOUSE, INC.’S 6 SINGLE SERVE DRESSING CUPS 2010 PACKAGE OF THE YEAR

ATLANTA, GA (October 2010) - The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its 11th annual Package of the Year at its Annual Meeting held October 9 - 11 at the Marco Island Marriott in Marco Island, Florida.

The Package of the Year award was given to Litehouse Inc. for their 6 single serve dressing cups. The container features six individually wrapped single serve dressing cups, stacked with a high graphic sleeve overwrap.  The “Stack Pack” offers a unique “grab & go” merchandising option.  The streamlined shape communicates a well-known product to the consumer.  It offers the retailer a space saving value added alternative.

“Customers love the convenience of having dips to go, says Paul Kusche, Vice President of Marketing & Innovations for Litehouse, Inc., who accepted the award during Sunday’s Award Luncheon.  “The shrink-wrapping allows for easy storage not only on store shelves but in home cupboards.”   

The Package of the Year award is presented by ADS to increase the awareness of packaging in general and to celebrate the accomplishments of the packaging industry for dressing, sauce and condiment-related packages. Nominations for the award were received and ADS members cast their votes for the package each deemed most innovative during ADS’ April 2010 Technical Meeting in Marco Island, Florida.
