Package of the Year

(Nov. 5, 2012) ATLANTA, GA – The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its thirteenth annual Package of the Year Award winner: Coldec Concepts for its Paletto® Paint Mix & Shake Bag. This package was selected for its possible future application for the dressing and sauce industry. The award was presented at the ADS Annual Meeting held Oct. 20 – 22 at Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Paletto® Paint Mix & Shake Bag was developed in cooperation with Nordenia/Mondi Jackson, Inc. Maik Hach (pictured with Mike Bauer, Chair of the ADS Board), Technical Key Account Manager at Nordenia/Mondi Jackson, Inc., was present to accept the vendor award.

The Package of the Year Award is presented by ADS to increase the awareness of packaging in general and to celebrate the accomplishments of the packaging industry for dressing, sauce and condiment-related packages. Nominations for the award were received and ADS members cast their votes for the package deemed most innovative at the ADS 2012 Technical Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.
