Names Bay Valley Foods’ (October 2010) ATLANTA, GA –The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its ninth annual Dressing of the Year Award winner at its Annual Meeting held October 9 - 11 at the Marco Island Marriott in Marco Island, Florida. A team from Bay Valley Foods and affiliates including David Vermylen, President and COO, TreeHouse Foods, Inc., Keiran Kelly, Vice President/General Manager, E.D.Smith Foods, Ltd., Billy Lewis, Vice President Business Development, Bay Valley Foods, and Sam Reed, Chairman and CEO, TreeHouse Foods, Inc., were present to accept the award. "We are very excited to be awarded Dressing of the Year! Thank you to everyone at ADS and the members for choosing our La Maison Organic Lemon Ginger Sesame Dressing as Dressing of the Year. I'd also like to thank our Research & Development team who search not only North America but the World looking for new ideas and innovative meal solutions for our valued retail partners," said Keiran Kelly, Vice President/General Manager. The Dressing of the Year Award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious dressing products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test at ADS’ May Technical Meeting in Portland, Oregon. ADS members voted for the dressing deemed to have the best overall taste. The Association for Dressings & Sauces is an international trade association of salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard and other condiment sauce manufacturers and their suppliers.
