Dressing of the Year
THE ASSOCIATION FOR DRESSINGS & SAUCES AWARDS (October 2007) ATLANTA, GA – The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its sixth annual Dressing of the Year Award winner at its Annual Meeting held October 14-16 at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, California. “On behalf of Cains, I am proud to accept the Dressing of the Year Award for Cains Chipotle Ranch Dressing. This award is especially satisfying because it is our colleagues at ADS that have distinguished this product for being both innovative and delicious. I thank my associates at Cains for their efforts in developing, producing and marketing this new dressing,” said Rick Duggan, Vice President of Operations, who accepted the award during Monday’s General Session. The Dressing of the Year Award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious dressing products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test at ADS’ April Technical Meeting in Savannah, Georgia. ADS members voted for the dressing deemed to have the best overall taste. The Association for Dressings & Sauces is an international trade association of salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard and other condiment sauce manufacturers and their suppliers.
