Scheduling of Non-ADS Functions
Please remember that no events are to be scheduled to conflict with official ADS events. This would include hospitality suites, special breakfasts or dinners, recreational activities, including transportation and similar events.

Open Committee Descriptions:

Consumer Awareness Committee
The Consumer Awareness Committee (CAC) directs activities to raise product awareness, position dressings and sauces as part of a healthy diet and fosters growth of industry products. This is accomplished through various ADS-sponsored campaigns. Current projects include an interactive news release, audio news release, quarterly recipe contests, website enhancements, National Salad Month, a Facebook page to engage consumer interest in member products and healthy eating, among others. Industry promotion for 2011 will also be addressed during the Friday, October 8 meeting.

Packaging Committee
The mission of the Packaging Committee is to address the packaging/packaging system needs of ADS members and provide a forum for discussion packaging-related topics. The group meets twice per year during the Annual and Technical Meetings. The Packaging Committee plans to focus its efforts on sustainability and vision system technology, although the scope of these projects has not yet been defined.
